STUDENT FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF DA NANG – UNIVERSITY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDIES WON THE FIRST PRIZE AT THE FINAL SHOWDOWN OF THE ENGLISH CONTEST FOR STUDENTS

On the evening of 11/11/2017, at Can Tho University, the National Final Round of the English Contest for Student – Star Awards 2017 was held. The representatives of Danang University – Nguyen Le Quyen (first year student from class 17SPA02, English pedagogical major) – is from the Da Nang University of  Foreign language Studies. He has participated in the competition with 11 other excellent candidates from other universities in the country.

 

 

The National Final Round of The Star Awards 2017 English Contest  for Students has brought together 12 most excellent candidates who are the winners of 6 contest groups all over the country, coming from national main universities such as: Vietnam National University, Hanoi; National University, Ho Chi Minh City; Hue University, Thai Nguyen University, Can Tho University, Tay Nguyen University .. Student Nguyen Le Quyen, representative of Danang University, had participated the Final round as the first ranked contestant in the semifinal round (which is taken place at the University of Danang  University of Economics – on November 4) It is the competition between the contestants from universities in the South Central region and the Central Highlands.

 

 

At the final round, the contestants in turn participated 3 rounds of competition: Starting (introducing themselves within 1 minute); Speed ​​up (answer 10 multiple-choice questions) and Goals (12 candidates were divided into 4 teams, each team elucidated the chosen topic and responds to questions given by the opponent team.
